Multiple characters in a single WAD?

Theoretically*, is it possible?

*by theoretically, I mean that one of my characters is associated with three others and being able to combine them later into a single wad for convenience would be neat.

Yes, just add a blank lump after one character's sprites end and before the next one's S_SKIN.

Yes it works. Just make sure you divide each of you character files in the wad with S_START and E_END or something like that.

So I could place a text lump with the word filler in it?

Tried the blank lump approach, all I got was a S_SKIN syntax error. Could have done something wrong, but I dunno.

The only thing I had to do was fix the hurt frames, when you copy them from one character wad to a new one via XWE the \ turns into a _.

Tried again, worked this time. Forgot that XWE apparently deletes totally blank lumps. Now I has a Yattana/Lari combo wad. :D

Didn't have that problem with \'s turning into _'s. Which is a good thing because my computer's language is set to japanese (due to siblings playing Yume Nikki) and therefore \'s tend to show up as yen symbols. (does that in XWE, still works just fine, though.)
