Single Player Levels Multiplayer Levels

Hi there, I present to you my work-in-progress level pack called 2D Frames. It only contains one level for now. if you have an idea on a new level or if you found a bug, feel free to share it in the comments. But anyway. Have fun!

Oh, and also inspiration was from Lat's 2D angle slope test. The way his level was made gave me inspiration to make Greeny Heights. Thank you Lat' for this!

Levels planned for future versions:

- City Speedways Act 1
- Tech Arena Act 1
- Lost Jungle Act 1
- Hidden Palace (All 7 Chaos Emeralds hidden in the level)
- Lost Jungle Act 2
- Green Hill Act 1
- City Speedways Act 2
- Tech Arena Act 2
- Green Hill Act 2

Levels included in the pack:

- Greeny Heights

I'd suggest removing a lot of the foreground blocks, since they tend to block the view of things like enemies and springs. Makes it kinda hard to play.

Anyways, welcome to Releases!

It's a start certainly, but the level still needs a lot of work.

I would start with the background. The blocks there don't look pretty at all. You can play more with it, or even using a texture will work better. You can maybe add some water too.

This one is a personal thing but, I would avoid using the classic checkered textures. To be honest you might get better results with a different one.

Like FuriousFox said, avoid using these foreground blocks, or at least don't abuse them. Blocking the player view isn't a nice thing.

The level also lacks decoration. I don't know, maybe one flower here and there, some floor variations. Play around with that to make the level feel more vivid.

I suggest you take references from other 2D levels (The ones in Subarashii/Sugoi are good examples).

I'd like to see more progress on this. 2D levels are rare these days. Keep working on it!

In my opinion everything here is fine but, only fine, since i don't like how 2D maps work.
Anyway, for someone who is starting with mapping the idea is very cool and map pack also.
