SRB2 for PS2

For a bit when I had a PS2-styled pc controller, It kinda looked as if I were playing it on a playstation 2. So what I'm wondering is, is it possible to make a PS2 compatable version of SRB2?

It`s possible, but it would be EXTREMELY difficult.
