A brilliant yet stupid question.

I was wondering is it possible to make a character just with text? I mean type out how long you want the angles to be, how dark the shading, etc, etc. I think it IS possible to do this, it's just not in this version of srb2. I know you can create a level with just text, so that's why I was wondering this.

Umm... what? Characters are mostly sprites.
(@ the topic title, LOL contridictions.)

It is a good... wait no it isn't it's an imbecilic idea, who has the time to type out all that crap? Noone that's who plus with how we do stuff now allows you to view the sprites as you make them, which text can't do. Please either go away or explain further how this would be a practical idea.

Um, I suppose it's possible, if you want to look into hex editing. I have no idea what you're talking about with making a level with text, though. Do all the linedefs look like "T"s to you?

Still feels like doing it the XWE way would be faster and more efficient.

I suppose in theory you could hex edit the pallet index value of each individual pixel. I can't really see any advantage whatsoever to it though.
