While I was look at the Wiki. I noticed that SRB2's birthday is come up(March 1998). So I decided to make this topic. Because I have only been here for a year. I will post link to the past.

Hmm I don't think it's really fair to do the history of SRB2 without Sonic Doom and Sonic doom 2. From what I've seen, SRB2 Halloween and the first Christmas Demo may have been bulit upon Sonic Doom 2 as there was evidance of Knee deep in the Geek, The shores of Neodenaire, and Project GKR in the Halloween version's Doom2.wad, and the sprite of sonic useing the Chainsaw found in the wad file of the Christmas demos.

It also looks like the map nameing system we use today started back in Sdoom2.wad

Or at least some other edition of SRB2 out of nowhere, like SRB2 1.09.75, or SRB2Birthday, where the rings would be turned into party hats, and the enemies would be... something. I dunno what yet.
 
Or like Sonic Stadium does, a page dedicated to the aniversary XD Me and my ideas... *sigh*

Weren't they going to release a patched version of 1.09.4 though? Maybe thats it... or maybe they're are going to be some neat SRB2-related events. Or maybe they are going to perform the long overdue reworking of the addons section of the website.
 
If my guessing that 1.1 would be done this year was wrong, what makes you think we'll get a demo of 1.1?

That's a bit of interest to me... I mean the link, that is...

There's a different frame for Sonic or Tails for each page, in their original sizes!

(But sadly, not all of them work, plus that some of the pages don't work either...)
 
But the Downloads page's MIDI section works. MOST of the old but official midis are there, even Eggrock. It doesn't sound like the one that Spazzo found, though. It could be completely updated or completely changed.
