Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky

Actually, on the Wigglytuff's guild boss, Dugtrio knows Earth Power, Sunflora knows Petal Dance, and Chatot knows Fury Attack. Wigglytuff I believe knows Doubleslap too. So yes it's cheap because some of them can kill you and keep on attacking right through those reviver seeds. The rest of them aren't hard, and it gets a bit easier if you have something that hits everyone in the room, preferably Blizzard if you can find one (since it hits Dugtrio, Chatot, and Sunflora for supereffective damage)

I will say this though, Darkrai murdered me the first time, but that was only because it decided to spam Ominous Wind, and the game jacked Darkrai's stats up every time it used it. Combine that with the Double Team hax it also throws in, and it pretty much rendered Darkrai unbeatable. I just reset the game, I had much better luck the second time around beating it.

Also, I stand corrected on the Master Rank. It goes Master, Master *, Master 2*, Master 3*.... An then there's a 75,000 Explorer Point gap to what I'm assuming is the game's top-tier rank.

Pokemon explorers of sky help

Can someone help me on pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of sky? I've beaten the main story and graduated from the guild and I'm at sky summit and I can't get past the boss fight with grimer and muk. (If it helps my hero pokemon is Riolo who I named chaos after the sonic character and my partner pokemon is Pikachu who I named sonic after sonic the hedgehog himself.)

Yes I had some issues with the Grimer/Muk fight myself, it's one of the cheaper boss fights in PMD because Shaymin has low health, with an unfavorable typing against Poison Types and won't last long if Poison attacks are used against it. Also Shaymin is an ally and has to survive the fight (meaning if Shaymin faints and you don't have any reviver seeds to revive it with you will lose the fight). Remember the enemies are all Poison type, so Ground and Psychic moves work best, but stay away from Fighting and Grass moves. Also hopefully you'll get some support from the AI allies too.

My best advice is just bring roughly 6-8 Reviver seeds and plan to use them all at the boss. Just save your game at every Kanghaskhan statue you see. If you burn any reviver seeds, just reset and try again until you reach the top.

Tip: Don't throw away Plain Seeds either (unless your bag is full and you find something more valuable), they can be used in special offers at the Recycle Shop for a Life Seed

If you don't have at least six Reviver Seeds, or if you used them all up on the way up, you'll probably have to beat a retreat back down the mountain and resupply yourself by either drawing more out of storage, or by going back to the guild (you get one free Reviver Seed for getting all the footprints right at Sentry Duty, and you can do this as many times as you need to) and/or buying them at Kecleon Shop (remember the list refreshes every day so check back often). Fortunately, you don't have to start from scratch if you go back down, Drifloon will let you back up to the 6th Station Clearing and you can climb from there.

One thing I've found in PMD is that there's no such thing as having too many Reviver seeds in Kangaskhan storage. Even when exploring random dungeons, I keep at least 4 of them on me at all times, more if I'm doing escort missions.

Hope this helps.

Does your Pikachu know Discharge? If so, have him/her use only that move through the fight. (You can switch your Team's moves by selecting Team and then your Pikachu.)

Discharge hits EVERYONE but your team in the room, which should be very useful as it will deal normal damage to the Grimer/Muk.

I wouldn't use Earthquake, unless you got a few Reviver Seeds to back it up, because this attack hits everyone in the room, but it is Super Effective at Poison Types. (Then again... can Riolo learn Earthquake with a TM? If not then skip this message here.)

What MilesTraysandor said, you can go for that too, and if you still keep losing, you can try bringing nothing but Reviver Seeds till you run out of space in your bag. (You might want to bring a apple or 2 for the Dungeon Floors, though, just in case.)

If I may ask, what are your stats/Levels for your Riolo and Pikachu?

Well, I gave some general guidelines and such, you might have to improvise a little.

If you have a Dig TM somewhere in storage, it makes for a pretty strong and relaible Ground attack, and it can be learned by most Pokemon.

Fighting-type, Ground type, Poison Type and Steel Types take the least amount of damage from poison attacks. It will also help if you raise that Pokemon's IQ skill high enough so that it can take damage for an injured ally, you can divert Poison attacks away from Shaymin and to a Pokemon that can handle it much easier.

Also another good idea is to take a pokemon knowing a move that can damage all enemies, such as Discharge and Blizzard (just to name a few moves)

Another idea is if you go and recruit Dialga (by going to the beach and clearing Hidden Land/Temporal Tower again, then defeating Dialga a second time -- though this is somewhat time consuming and requires a healthy Reviver Seed supply to attempt), Dialga's Roar of Time attack will do loads of damage to the enemies as well, just make sure to disable all of its other moves at the boss fight.

If you don't want to get Dialga, taking a detour instead to Steam Cave, Quicksand Cave, or Crystal Crossing you can recruit the three Lake Pokemon which all know Psychic-type moves and are higher in level than most pokemon.

action replay code help.

I'm trying to find an action replay code for explorers of sky that will give me infinite reviver seeds but I can't find one can someone tell me one?(And by the way does anyone know if there are any action replay codes that would let you play as super sonic in regular levels on sonic games where he's only playable in the final boss fight?)

You really don't need an AR code for infinite reviver seeds. If you talk to Loudred at the guild, you can do Sentry Duty every day. Get all the footprints right and you get one reviver seed for free, plus almost enough money to buy a second if you sell the prize loot except for the Reviver Seed (which is easily re-obtainable).

While you're doing this, check Kecleon's Shop every day in Treasure Town and buy Reviver Seeds as you see them. Before long you'll rack up 25-50 Reviver Seeds, which should be enough to get you through.

I honestly never needed more than 6 Reviver seeds at any point in the game, except when:
A. Going through Hidden Land / Temporal Tower and facing Dialga
B. Facing Wigglytuff's Guild
C. Facing the Grimer/Muk Battle at Sky Peak
D. Going through Spacial Rift and fighting Palkia
E. Going through Dark Crater, Deep Dark Crater, and the fight against Darkrai
F. Facing Dialga at the end of Special Episode "Into the Future of Darkness"

For those instances, bringing 12-16 should be enough to let you live long enough to defeat the bosses.

OK, I really think I overpowered myself with the Gummis, and those stat boosters that you get during offers in the Recycle Shop.

Pikachu
Lv. 60
HP : 150/150
ATK : 121
DEF : 103
SP.A : 112
SP.D : 100
IQ : ***'

Chikorita
Lv. 64
HP : 169/69
ATK : 126
DEF : 101
SP.A : 136
SP.D : 102
IQ : ****

Chikorita is at a higher level due to doing a few solo missions & some Dojo training.

I kept reseting the game in order to get the stats to become better boosted, such as getting *Good.* or *Miracle.* Drinks.

There were offers that had Proteins, Zincs, etc. So... yea.

I should really stop doing missions and do Blizzard Island already... >_>

I myself don't really care that it's almost like EOT/D, I bought it anyways. At the begin I keep getting Shinx and I actually want Riolu. Did they tweak the system or something?

They did tweak the system some, in that there's some new questions this time around. As for the questions, the first and last questions are always the same (did you play Time/Darkness, and What is your Gender), but the other 5 questions should be randomly generated, so keep trying.

Alternatively, use this guide to help you out: http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/955859/58014

Riolu can only be Sassy nature, Male. nothing else works. so use the questions and cross reference them with the guide (do Ctrl + F and type in the first few words of the question), then pick the answer that gives points to Sassy nature.

You may still need to reset if you don't get enough Sassy nature answers.

Ok... I manage to unlock Destiny Tower, however I won't say what's in there but I'll give you a hint...

You are on your own once you enter, and I do mean on your own.

@SonicX8000: I have it unlocked too, but I've never tried it. Mostly because it's 99 floors of your Level 1 Pokemon vs. everything. You can't take anything with you into there, and no IQ skills allowed, they're all disabled in the dungeon.

So yeah, good luck soldier. You're gonna need it. Oh, and if somehow you make it to the top...? Well there's something up there that'll make the trip worth it.

Meh, nevermind my other post; I took Shinx anyways and chosen Riolu as partner instead. I'm now at Mt. Bristle because Drowzee's giving me a damn hard time.

Hi I want you to Help me decide now! ........
:) ______________________________________________________________________________________________________

I'm now trying to beat the Bidoofs Wish episode, but the Star Cave is a real annoyance with all the annoying Hail that's all over the place. Not to mention I lost all my Reviver Seeds thanks to Team Rogue. >_> Really, what a cheap level Star Cave is.

Cheap ass new levels EotS throws at you.

EDIT: I got through the place. (at last...)
