Well, in that case I'd suggest adding some more height variation so the slopes and spring shell enemies can be really useful. Valleys can be deep!

Fixing OP's post :

Looks really flat and generally not interesting .

Seeing THZ's wall textures with GFZ grass brings me back, man. I think it shows early signs of potential! I think you should follow boins advice and add some more details and things to fill the open areas up a bit more, but you're in a good direction so far!

You could probably throw a different texture on the large walls to stop that moire effect from spreading all over the screen, plus it would help improve the texture variation.

It's looking pretty good so far for a beginner map, though

I agree with chrome. Try to make a cutsom texture for the walls.... maybe add some features that look like steel in the texture to make it seem more "steely". Maybe add some flats of steel but idk, up to you.

Other than that good work

Hot damn, that's nice. Has a bit of 1.09.4 touch, in a good way.

Personally I think the orange pipes look a bit odd suspended up high like that because of how thin they are. I'd make them thicker, or bring them closer to the ground. It's just a tiny nitpick though; I'm liking what I'm seeing so far~!!

Update!

More Screenies!

I kinda dislike the THZ wall texture when it's used all over the map, but I can't think of any alternative that would fit with the textures you have now. Other than the textures (which is only a small issue to begin with) this map is looking pretty good! I can tell you've made great progress on it since the first pic.

Looks really good so far. But the last 3 sections kinda looks boring now compared to the first one. You have to put an equal amount of attention in every section. Try to keep in mind what the others told you about the first section and find what you can change or add. And don't forget that SRB2 is a platforming game so an overly flat level will always be boring to play through.
