Opening SRB2 wads

I could think of a few reasons why it won't work

-it has no map header(?)

-all the linedef effects and sector effects were from Doom so SRB2 couldn't read them.

-monsters and textures.

Means jack, it'd just use the standard definitions. Trust me, I've made enough WADs to know.

Everything else he said is right, though. SRB2 isn't backwards-compatible with DOOM, too much has been changed.
 
Ah, but:
- When playing ZTeimat's version, walking over a linedef caused the floor to collapse.
- I opened ZTeimat's version in Doom Builder, and it came up with the monsters in the right place.
 
Neotails, SRB2's code has strayed so far from the original port that it is no longer compatible with any other Doom game. There's a difference between SRB2 WADs and Doom WADS.
