OK, could someone tell me what all these different lumps are in-game?

look at them in XWE? They should be fairly self-explanatory.

Not the best idea. Before he opens srb2.srb in XWE, he should copy it just incase he modifies something on accident. He should also read http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/XWE_Tutorial#Lowercase_lumps_and_other_menu_options before opening the wad so he doesn't corrupt the wad. The preform clean up on exit screws up SRB2 wads.

If it's too technical then stop making WADs. You should know EXACTLY what he means.

Copy and paste "srb2.srb" into another folder, and rename it to "srb2.wad." Then it can be opened in SLumpED.

Then just go through the lumps until you find all of the sprites that you need.

I can make WADs, it's just that the way he phrased it didn't make sense.

The lumps you listed are the ones for the title screen decor. Simple enough.
