Playing different music when hovering over a selection in character select?

Would that be possible? I just want the character select music to play a theme based on the character you're hovering over. Like, playing "It Doesn't Matter" when hovering over Sonic, but when you hover over Tails, it plays "Believe in Myself".

BTW, I'm just doing this for fun.

I don't think it's possible to modify the character select screen like that currently, not even with Lua.

Ok. I just wanted to know if it was possible or not.
