I still think that release needs to be undone.

For what reason exactly? As far as I can see it is totally acceptable as a release; it does not break any rules, it's not an awful mish-mash of sprites like Demo-era Knuckles was (some have tried making a release of that one, seriously!), and considering the infamous "ugly" knux got through too... why?

Ugly Knux has its own reasoning. It's got an additional lua ability that makes it work more as a legacy character than just a simple port of the sprites and contains the old 1.09 stats. The 2.0 Knuckles is simply nothing more than a port with SF_NOSKID added.

It's a secret to everybody

I'm just going to post here as an aside.

I think people here thought I was kidding when I said I was going to be strict and keep a closer eye on this topic. I just handed out a bunch of warnings and infractions on the previous page.

I'm not playing around here. I'm not letting this topic devolve into stupid bullshit. Think before you post.

It's pretty early in the works so things will surely change in the future.
(By the way this is meant to be a CTF map)

@EvilEternity3000The levels you are trying to make are too awesome to be released.
Nvm, as a suggestion, I would make the enemy jumping higher and firing bullets, it needs to be an actual hazard, otherwise, it'll be as pointless as crawlas because you'll be able to rush them without risk.

@BlueBlurForever
I can't really judge what I do see so far but adding grass ledges to the circuit's borders could be a good idea.

Just a consideration, Whackjood, instead of making the arena a carbon copy of CEZ's, why not try and make it slightly more original? Maybe square the room out, and instead of using a chain like CEZ, use a spring or something to get into the stands.

Well that kills the idea of an accurate boss rush, which is being a direct port of a boss's arena just with free visual liberation. If he changes something so core in design like the method of getting onto the stands so drastically it wouldn't be the same boss.

...context would be kinda nice?

If I had to take a guess, I'd say that those monitors make the player bigger(fat blue arrow) or smaller(tiny orange arrow). Kinda like in Chaotix, except that there were no tiny-ifying monitors there(IIRC).

If you are doing that Blue Blur, might I suggest making the Grow Monitor something different that isn't similar to the Gravity Boots Monitor? Because of that, I thought you were making gravity based monitors. Also make the icons identifiable right on the spot to the player. XSRB2 had Grow and Shrink monitors but the icons for them were designed badly in my opinion because it was kinda hard to tell the difference between what made you grow and what made you shrink.

The icons are fine and nobody ever uses gravity boot monitors anyway. As long as the gimmick is introduced in a safe environment first, it doesn't matter if you know what it's going to do or not; you will as soon as you pop the monitor.
