My work is never done yet
Do programs like XWE, SLADE, etc. have ways to export sounds out of WAD files and save them as .wav or some other audio file type? I'm currently working on a non-SRB2-related platforming game, and I want to have access to SRB2's sound effects for use in it. (Don't worry, I will give credit for the sounds if I can get my hands on them.)

No, they can't export sounds out of WAD files and save them as a audio file type, you'd need to use something like Audacity to do so.

Incorrect. Audacity does not deal with either wad files, or with converting to or from the DooM sound format. Conversion can be handled inside of SLADE3:

Once the lump has been converted, you can then export it as a .WAV file.

Ah I see, my mistake, I haven't used SLADE or XWE in the longest time.
