There is a wierd line:
Code:
No hardware flipping
Is it a problem from a config of my CPU? :?

I don't really think the "no hardware flipping" would really present a problem. It's a hardware specification of your video card. What I'm worried about is your video card driver. Just what is "X11", exactly?

do build a debug binary, "DEBUGMODE=1"
gdb lsrb2sdl -nomouse -opengl
*crash*
"bt" for the backtrace, the stacks of functions that leads up to the crash

what arch? what dist? x86/debian?

did you use the source code with SRB2Src109.exe or the SVN server svn://lawarias.game-server.cc/SRB2109
note only SRB2109JTE can netplay Linux vs Window due that the Window version is compiled with GCC; svn://lawarias.game-server.cc/SRB2109JTE

Thank you for your replies!

@FoxBlitzz: X11 is the "graphic server" used by most UNIX systems.

@Black Zero: yeah I can, but if you want to, you havo to build it yourself. It need a little knowledge of programming :D . About the speed, it is as fast as windows. But I've seen a very little lag when you get a message on the console :? .

@AlamGBC: I have a X86_64 (AMD64) processor, but I use a Ubuntu 32bits edition on. (Ubuntu is based on Debian :) ) Yes I've build the binary with SRB2Src1094.exe (extracted with Wine)

Lately, I've built a nVidia module from the NVIDIA installer. But it didn't give more results...

EDIT: first post updated with debug version of srb2.

so you compiled SRB2 64bit or 32bit?
and could you use the code in the Subversion server, it fixed some bugs
note: that SRb2Src1094.exe can be extracted with rar or unrar

I've compiled SRB2 into 32bits (I've finally deleted my 64bits for a 32bits ubuntu edition).

The Subversion server, what's that thing?

install subversion on a debian system (Super Cow Powers!)
Code:
sudo apt-get install subversion
checkout srb2mods and wait
Code:
svn checkout svn://lawarias.game-server.cc/ srb2mods
lets go compile that binary!
make -C srb2mods/SRB2109/src LINUX=1 DEBUGMODE=1
to update srb2mods
Code:
svn up srb2mods

A random huge bump, and probably useless, but I used to not be able to use opengl, but when I got this laptop it works.

This laptop has and nvidia card, and I think nvidia is well supported by linux(or vice versa)

It might just be a question of compatibility(If you haven't solved it already)
