A_Chase's attack function is broken

My work is never done yet
For whatever reason, it seems that objects using the action A_Chase's built-in attack function only attack once, even if they go back to their SpawnState and target the player again. What's going on? Is there an issue with the source code, or is there some parameter other than the MeleeState/MissileState and A_Chase's VAR1 that needs to be set?
