Some non gameplay mods prevent saving

There are a lot of mods here that change aesthetic things that you can't use while saving the game, like the look of Greenflower or how the ring sound effect sounds.

From what I've gathered the point of turning off saving when mods are used is to prevent cheating, but some mods don't lock saving. How would the ones that do but shouldn't be changed to not effect saving?

Currently if a mod changes anything but the music, it counts as a gameplay modification and it won't save unless it's set to have its own mod save data. See this wiki article's information on the variable "GameData": https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/MainCfg

Note that this doesn't mean that setting that would re-enable vanilla's gamedata settings; it would start a new (completely blank) setting that would have zero unlockables by default.
