Sonic Wad Alpha ReSized

You didn't resize him...you just shifted the sprites down. It doesn't work that way; in fact, that made it look worse.

Anyway, reclassifying it as an alpha is a step in the right direction, but if you seriously want to pursue this, this will need TONS more work. This wad isn't even a complete set of frames. Plus, it just replaces sprites; it's not an individual character. To do things properly, you need a MAINCFG/OBJCTCFG lump and an S_SKIN lump. Then, you'll need to resize it for real. In the meantime, you could set HIRES to 1, which would at least make the sprites closer to the proper size. Then, you'll need to realign the frames, and, above all, you need to spend more work ON the frames.

Before you say "oh, I'm new at this, please don't be so harsh", I'm not trying to BE harsh. I'm trying to point out what you should do BECAUSE you're new. This WAD needs a lot of improvement, so try taking the steps I have mentioned if you really want a chance of releasing this.

uhhhhhhh wat? and i am new but i also dont have drawing skills and im kind of young and this is my first wad

Look, the problem is that, on the SRB2 Messageboard, people aren't going to cut you slack just because you're new and you aren't good at drawing and it's your first WAD. If you want a hope of competing, you'll need to overcome those things. Here are my suggestions for the WAD, outlined:

1. Improve the frame drawings.
2. Add more angles (make diagonal frames).
3. Get all the frames finished.
4. Properly align the frames so that Sonic doesn't shake when he walks.
5. Create an S_SKIN lump (this is a text lump that turns those disparate frames into a character. With an S_SKIN lump, your WAD won't replace Sonic--it'll be a stand-alone character.)
6. Create a MAINCFG or an OBJCTCFG lump (this is a text lump that takes your S_SKIN lump, associates it with the selection pictures, and makes your character appear on the select screen)
7. Either shrink your frames or turn on the HIRES variable in your new S_SKIN lump. Generally, shrinking your frames individually will be better, but the HIRES variable will take a lot less work.

Following that advice should fix up the worst problems in the WAD. Even after that, there are a few more minor things you'll need to do to make your WAD more appealing.
