i can't get the addons to work with the game...

i downloaded the addons and have them stored with everything else for the game. how do I get them to work for it? example: Shadow character sprites for multiplayer.

umm are you new? anyways you need an SRB2 launcher to use Wad files. they should be on the SRB2 website. once you get the launcher place it in your SR2 folder then from there, open the lancher and upload your wad files. then run game then your all set...

or if you mean to upload wad files during multiplayer...

go to the the command menu then type "ADDFILE (name of wad).wad"
 
when ever i try to start run (you know what i mean on the launcher)
it says run time error'53' file not fouund how do i fix this
 
Sounds like you are adding a wad outside of the SRB2 directory. You can't do that (for some reason), unless you use the -file parameter to add wads.
 
It's probably because the launcher is too stupid to know that it's supposed to add the .\directioryname or ..\directoryoutsideSRB2folder
