You have a pretty mixed taste in music. On the bright side, at least you didn't say Nickelback or anything like that. The rest of the stuff you listed (that I cut out) is pretty good, too.

All of the artists with tracks I like on Rock Band don't count!

Jars of Clay
Superchick
Newsboys
Skillet
Sanctus Real

Meh, Nicklback is...okay. Crush 40 has few good songs, I dislike most but the ones I do like are pretty good, to me at least. I've only heard about 2 or three songs from Powerman 5000 and Shinedown, Slipknot and Lamb of God are a favorite of mine's because I like the kind of screaming with a deep voice. System of a Down is a favorite of mine's, just sounds plain nice.. ICP's songs, I really hate the majority of them, but I like the few funny ones they have.

I haven't actually heard any songs of the artists in your list, except for the Gorillaz, and The Who, although I think I've heard only one song from both.

Never been a metal/grunge/whatever fan myself. I prefer the more classic styles like progressive rock, so Steely Dan Spyro Gyra, and Eric Clapton would probably be on my list.

Then again, I'm also a videogame music enthusiast, so plenty of Megaman and Sonic composers would go on my list as well.

**The Beatles**
Boston
Styx
Bon Jovi
Fool's Garden
Pendulum
Muse

And, if I'm feeling lulzy, Jimmy Luxury

I dunno who works in what album but...

Supercell (ryo)
Ryu*
Paraoka
Lee Brotherton
Crush 40 (yeah.. I know.)

Kaw
Baker
REDALiCE
Dj. Sharpnel
talaw

Um... I think that's about it for now...

I hear a lot of music from all kinds of rock/hardrock/hardcore/heavy metal. And often I just like one or two songs of a certain band or album.

If I had to choose two bands that I kept constantly listening to in the last five years it would be:

Soilwork (Natural Born Chaos, Figure Number Five)
Sonata Arctica (Takatalvi, Reckoning Night, Unia)

If had to choose five albums I would reccomment by my today's opinion it would be:

Sparzanza - Banisher of the Light
A very good hardrock album.

Hurt - Volume 1
Very deep, dark and sad alternative rock/metal masterpiece

Epica - The Classical Conspiracy
Symphonic metal live? Hell yeah!!!

Demetori - Sendaisoushi
Instrumental: Some of Zun's compositions interpreted with electric guitars, drum sets and a taste of awesomeness!

Insomnium - Above the Weeping World
Melo/Death Metal, powerful and destructive. I love it! :)

1) All That Remains
2) System of a Down
3) Nazz-can
4) Crow's Claw
5) Bone Thugs N' Harmony
6) MetallicA
7) Crush 40
8) Bob Marley
9) Ian Slider (cornandbeans)
10) Pendulum
11) Linkin Park
12) Lamb of God
13) Serj Tankian
14) Gorillaz
15) ZUN
16) Akon

Metallica
Adema
Spineshank
Trivium (pre-The Crusade)
Trivium (Post-The Crusade)
Escape the Fate
Bring me the Horizon
Slipknot
Bullet for My Valentine
Silent Civilian

Favourites, no particular order. Favourite song is probably Spineshank's "New Disease", or Bring me the Horizon's "Chelsea Smile".

I listen to just about anything
Mainly stuff that I listened to when I was little
...Which was everything.

That list freaked me out. I despise all of the bands I know on this list (which are most) except Metallica's older stuff (but you probably listen to the new stuff). Seriously, if you think this is heavy music you don't know any of the following:

Death
Exodus
Kataklysm
Obituary
Slayer
Unleashed
(These are only the more popular ones.)

But I also listen to stuff like this:
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead
Black Sabbath
Cream
The Cure
David Bowie
The Doors
Dream Theater
Frank Zappa/The Mothers Of Invention
Gorillaz
Hurt
Jimi Hendrix
Kyuss
Led Zeppelin
Mastodon
Pearl Jam
Porcupine Tree
Radiohead
Smashing Pumpkins
Sonic Youth
Soundgarden
Tool
The Who
