Tails in ERZ3 problem

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to put this...
I have just tried to beat ERZ3, and I don't think that Tails is fast enough to complete the race. Is there a tails-only shortcut, or something to give me an edge?

EDIT: I have tried to beat this by flying past parts of the race, and this does help, but not enough.

There is a little hole revealing a Super Sneakers Monitor after the first room with the conveyor belts.

After that, you're basically set for the rest of the race as long as you continue to fly over as many of the obstacles as possible.

"Fly everywhere" is actually bad advice, since flying gimps your max speed. Jump whenever jumping is enough, and only fly when you would otherwise have to stop or take a detour (like the conveyor belts at the start or the floating platforms around the halfway mark).
