Select any sector, and click on either the ceiling flat or the floor flat field. Then count.

Sorry, but I just am not "grasping" the tutorial. I think this is what I am missunderstanding:

This linedef should be tagged to the desired destination sector within the map. A Teleport Destination Thing must also be placed in the destination sector. The exact X-position, Y-position, Z-position, and angle the teleported player or object will assume are determined by this Thing.

Tagged to the desired destination? Tagged to what?

Tagged to the desired destination sector. Tagged to the sector that you want to be teleported to.

If you mean SOC object, 308. If you mean map Thing, none. If you want to place RedXVI on your map, you must make a SOC that applies a map Thing slot to RedXVI.
