The not so long-awaited sequel to this bug!
SRB2's public trunk, which contains the alleged ModBy fix, now works properly when there is a custom ModBy. However, when there is no ModBy specified, the game crashes when it tries to display it.
Since plain SRB2 obviously doesn't a ModBy set, you cannot unlock anything in vanilla because the credits crash the game, and you can't skip the credits on your first time seeing them.
