This mod is the 2.0 version and as such will have errors in 2.1.11
An update is currently in the works.

Welcome To the Past. If you ever played Mystic Realm and earned enough emblems to unlock the Archives, SRB2TP is essentially the same thing for the main game. The mod is suppose to cover from SRB2 TGF up to SRB2 2.0.5.

Added in this version:
SRB2 Museum Hub world now available
All versions of Green Flower up to 2.0.5 now available
All versions of Castle eggman up to 2.0.5 now available
Save system now works with all levels accessed via the SRB2 Museum Hub world.
Beta Quest featuring 2 secret levels (Special Thanks to SNN Tails for providing the levels for public download)
Proper Eggmobiles for each version of the boss fight
Christmas Hunt zone
sonic's nightmare now has an emblem for just Sonic alone. a reward for completing the level as him.

All multiplayer levels are now split into a separate megawad, complete with divided rotations for each version

The Red Volcano entry method no longer kills you and will also no longer break the unlockable system

All levels, outside of beta quest, are now grouped by name or theme

Known Bugs
1. Spelling?
2. 1.09.4 Eggman does not spawn jet fumes
3. Hidden Palace's Floor lights don't function as they did in demo 2
4. Some levels in beta quest (Sky Fortress) will get you stuck if something goes wrong. (Save system properly works so reloading should work)
5. May not work properly with custom characters (a bug that can only be fixed upon SRB2 version 2.1)

A. the Debut Castle Eggman Red XVI secret doesn't boot you out with a custom error message. Oh, wait. That not a bug.

To get to this location, find a hidden fake wall in the caves of the mountain.


To get to this location, the doorway will open when the crusher begins. But go too far and the level ends.

The last one was taken on a version of Dual Fortress Zone that predates 1.09.4

No Special Stage slots are decided through a MAINCFG header.

Awww? I thought that I would found the old Eggman Castle from 1.09... I guess I'll like that one too XD

EDIT: After playing, I saw that the old Eggman Castle was back!!!...I'm so happy!... Reminds me the old and good time...

Pretty sure it does, I mean, it doesn't use too much SOCs if at all... Meh, just try it out.

One SOC in slot 1791 would be enough for it not to work correctly in multiplayer, and I'm sure there's one in that slot.

It wasn't originally made for 2.0.6. But it seems like the latest release was made after 2.0.6 came out. So yes, this should be compatible.

It's been way too long. (half a year since intended release) but now Version 1.01 of SRB2 the past has been released.

Changes since last version:
SRB2 Museum is now the Hubworld
Castle Eggman, Green Flower, Srb2 Halloween, SRB2 Xmas all accessed via SRB2 Museum's game room
Beta quest featuring the treasure trove of levels released by SSN Tails
Disco Dash only accessible via warp cheat
Green flower 1 TGF only accessable via warp cheat
Ice Cap only available in Mutiplayer wad
SRB2 Badnik Exibit avaiable
Skim clones don't work properly
SDURF properly cloned


Christmas Mode Bonus wad included for Historical reasons (intended to show how the mode might be if kept) Bonus mod is mentioned at the end of the SRB2 Xmas Exibit

Mutiplayer levels are now in their own wad file
all mutipler levels are seprated onto their own rotations based on version

Sideeffects of update:
Save files have to be reset if coming off of SRB2TP 2K10

I don't see any possible way to beat Dark City Zone 1(Beta Quest) as Sonic. It's impossible to jump on the small houses in a corner, they're a couple fracunits too tall. And I see absolutely nothing else to jump onto besides those. PLEASE don't say I'm stuck. I spent all those hours trying to fumble through these mazes of zones only to be stopped by an impossible-to-reach platform.
