Deleting a 1up in objectplace spawns a green copy of your character, and initiating objectplace when the starting item is a 1up will have a green copy of your character with the gravity orientation of the location the previous objectplace session started in appear to be the item selected.
Exiting objectplace with any green clones on the field by either method will remove all existing clones, and produce a single clone in your current location.
