wad file help

ok when i try to get wad files onto the game it keeps saying


SRB2.SRB\SRB2.WAD not found! expected in c:\documents and settings\Owner.YOUR -D3D3F0FEB8, ss files:c:\documents and settings\Owner.YOUR -D3D3F0FEB8\srb2.wad
 
SRB2 and all required files must be in the same folder. If the wad file isn't in your SRB2 folder, it will not work.
 
well, srb2.srb/srb2.wad should be in the same folder, like everything else. And don't edit it with anything.
 
Are you trying to drag the wad files onto your SRB2 exe?

If so, when the game is on, press the ~ button type "Addfile <wadfilename>.wad

Example: Addfile metalsonic.wad

i know but with mechaknux everytime i try to play as him it says file is corrupt
