I wanted to set a few keys for skin change but then my bind command wont work. When I do bind k screenshot it works, but when i try "bind k skin tails", it claims that the bind table is empty.
People suggested that i quote around the skin tails. It turns out that I cannot type the quotes in the console.
Any ideas why that is so?

If you can't type quotes, then how did you just do that? I need help understanding what you mean.
 
Ok in SRB2 i cannot type quotes but on notepad or any program else i can

also, some few buttons on my keyboard is replaced by ( or ) in srb2 but not in any other program

If you have no Autoexec, make an Autoexec.cfg in your SRB2 folder and put the code in it.

If you have a British keyboard like I am, either put it in your autoexec like they suggested, or when you want quotes, type @ instead.
 
yea...
what if my folder doesnt have an autoexec? Is that bad?
I dont really know HOW to make an autoexec.cfg so help me out

Go into Notepad. Do as Eblo said. Click "File > Save As...", and when it asks what kind of file (should be in a drop down list in a box), select "All Types", then save it as autoexec.cfg, and you're good to go.
