Sonic Reused/Remade Tracks

Well now, wasn't expecting that one. That Mystic Ruins theme was always one of my favorite songs from the game, and I had previously thought it was an original piece MIDI made for Sonic Chronicles. That begs the question though, what are the rest of the more obscure songs in it?

Can anyone tell what "Green Hill Zone's" theme is?

Or the Voxai Colony Alpha theme?

Or the Voxai Colony Beta theme?

I consider my knowledge of Sonic music fairly encyclopedic (with some notable gaps when it comes to Shadow, Secret Rings and Black Knight, regrettably)... and I have no idea what any of those three songs are. Voxai Colony Beta had me thinking "maybe it's just the PSG channels from Volcano Valley on the Genesis?", but double-checking that was decidedly negatory.

This one here for the Kron Colony Zone is a remix of Volcano Valley 2 from the Saturn 3D Blast.

The poor song :(
I'm pretty sure that's Volcano Valley 1, actually...

Knowing the history of the game, I'd be surprised if any of them are originals. However, to give credit where it is due, I absolutely adore this little song:

I actually think it sounds really cute. It isn't nearly as full as the original, but that actually gives it a charm in this rare instance. I can't really explain what feeling the song gives me, but it is something equating to peace and love. As if it would play in a cheery little village around christmas time. I wish the song was put to a better use in game.

It is obviously taken from this, but I didn't know that at the time when I played it.

I dunno, I think your description applies more to the original than it does the massacred Chronicles version of it. That was always a favorite of mine in that soundtrack (although I adore that soundtrack from top to bottom, so), so any charm the Chronicles version could've had is utterly lost on me.
