I really need to know how to addthing like weapons to Sonic characters,and how do I make another sonic.plr because everytime I change it I get errors on SRB2 about it.

Well you can just draw a weapon on your character,but im not sure if youll be able to use it to attack.

If you're not looking for a new char, try out A_capechase. It might be what you want.

The above suggestion was for socs. It looks like the easy way out of soccing is just a recolor.

You can't modify Sonic.plr directly, that will just cause the game to not start up. Never, ever, ever modify a game's files directly. Copy Sonic.plr and name it to whateveryouwanttocallit.wad.

Actually, it's fine to modify some files. I replaced a lot of the music in music.dta.

Music.dta won't kill your consistency, like modifying sonic.plr will, I think.

No, it's not fine to modify some files. It's fine to modify music.dta, and music.dta only.
