Yes, it's an exception.

How can I tell my anti-virus to allow Internet activity? I have Norton Anti-virus now, so, yeah...

Your antivirus program shouldn't block internet access for any program. I run Norton Antivirus myself, it doesn't do that for me. Make sure that your firewall allows SRB2 to access the internet.

I disagree, McAfee had always blocked me from using certain ports, which were mostly used for IRC...

And how DOES it freeze? Does it crash? Bring up a message? If it just stays there for a while, just wait a minute or so.

It stopped freezing, but now my entire PC restarts itself.

I once got Norton Antivirus and it stoped me fromgoing onto the innernet

I guess I can't get viruses while I'm not in teh innernet now can I?
