Samus Aran, the intergalactic bounty hunter and the main protagonist of the Metroid series, joins the race!
With a speed of 6 and a weight of 3, her iconic Gunship floats effortlessly along the track.

This is my first racer and I had a ton of fun working on her! I'm glad to be part of the community and hope to release more in the future, hope you enjoy!

Oh wow, this is tight. Using the vibrate frames for engine flicker works really well, the flashing pain sprites was a creative and clever technical effect to pull off without any scripting, and sticking a helmetless picture of her on the endsign was brilliant. Mostly though? This just looks fantastic.

Shame that the player color isn't more visible in the portraits, though, and I'd love it if the ship tilt was visible from other angles, but it's telling that I have to reach for features that the built-in characters don't even do to think of how to improve it. This is absolutely fantastic work.

Welcome to releases!
Science tells us that nothing can be proven, only rendered more likely to be true. If we do not question what we already know, how can we know, much less admit, when we're wrong? Such things are vital to progress.
