Netgame Basics

Can anyone link me to a netgame tutorial or something? I started a netgame the other day, but I was a little confused, not knowing exactly how everything worked. For example, how does one fix lag? Isn't there a few tricks that sometimes work? And how to hand the server to someone else? I tried typing VERIFY 04 and it told me that I had got the correct password and was now admin... Unfortunately I ALREADY was admin.

You know, just basics like that, if anyone could fill me in or give me a link, I'd be grateful.

As for why VERIFY didn't work, try making the node one digit (such as 4 instead of 04) or just use the player name instead. You could also use PASSWORD ****** and have the admin verify themself with LOGIN ******.
