LOL Man
Manjaro is based on Arch and someone made a repository for SRB2. Awhile back, this repository worked for me and I was able to play, but I wasn't able to add level mods. Now it just won't install the game at all and gives this error.

Code:
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build .

Thank you for any and all help with these problems. Also, Happy New Year to everyone on the forums and IRC.

Try using Ubuntu instead, it's a more compatible OS of Linux and I know that it's probably the only one that can run and install SRB2.

I recommend to run it in WINE; I used WINE on Manjaro to run SRB2
Run the windows installer, and then run srb2dd.exe in WINE.
Use terminal to launch with parameters
example:
Code:
WINE srb2dd.exe -opengl -skipintro

Don't listen to those ignorant of Linux, you shouldn't have to distro-hop just for a game to work. You're supposed to stick with the distro that works best for you. I find SRB2 ran better on WINE than it did natively too.
I chose to use Manjaro simply because everything came out of the box regarding drivers.
I used Mint beforehand, Mint doesn't come with your proprietary drivers, and instead came with a lot of unnecessary applications.
