So after sometime of having the unfinished Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 out on shelves what once was a rumor has become true. Basically UMvC3 will have 12 more characters, some tweaked features and so far one that everyone wanted Spectator mode, and some things in the game have been changed(Lifebars, character select screen, level bars, etc.)

My opinions on this is that it looks great, and I'm really looking foward to it, sure MvC3 was fun but it had a lot of faults which are being fixed in this which is a real good thing considering how faulty the game could be at times, I'm also excited to see how all the characters that haven't been shown yet are going to play in this game, so I will be picking this up November so MvC can once again "Take me on the ride of my life".
 
Bah. Capcom can still die, and this is one of the reasons why.

First off, they've got a lot of damn nerve pulling this like 3 days after cancelling Legends 3, and they didn't even bother putting in any Mega Man characters. God, Capcom, if you hate Legends that much, why bother even putting Tron in there?

Secondly, this is not worth $40 in the slighest. Whatever excuse they're working under for charging that much for just a bunch of new characters, it doesn't work. Maybe instead of being lazy and forcing us to unlock new characters that were pretty much finished and on the disc, they could have just done what a smart company would have done and actually released them one at a time. At the least, they could have made this a DLC upgrade for $15! Or are they going to make us spend our money on THAT again, too?

Seriously, Mortal Kombat showed just how well DLC can be done in a fighting game, and to not follow its example, even if you don't like the game, is ridiculous. They now how to give us a fresh supply of new, emphasis on new characters in a timely manner, without forcing us to pay for every single costume pack. Of which there was just ONE in Marvel.

And the character roster. Sure, there was some people I wanted to see, like Ghost Rider, and I know people will be creaming their pants over Frank West, but why no Mega Man? That's pretty much the reason people would buy this upgrade in the first place, and you couldn't even get him in? Or Gene? You're skipping Gene and you're putting Rocket Raccoon over him?

Also, hey, Capcom, you know how you said when Marvel 3 came out that a spectator mode would be impossible on current technology? Well I guess we're all on some crazy brain-powered virtual reality consoles in the far, far future of like five months later, aren't we?

So, yeah. Maybe I'll get this game. I mean, Marvel 3 was fun, and I can't see how this wouldn't be, either. But given how greedy and absolutely out of touch Capcom is with ANY of their fans, I'm not giving them a single penny for this, and neither should any of you. If you want the game, great. But give it a few months and wait until it becomes about $20. By then, they'll probably put out Hyper Marvel VS Capcom 3 Turbo: Arcade Edition, anyway. And you'll all probably buy THAT, too.

Just DIE, Capcom. Just die.

...OK, fine, Firebrand is cool, and I'll be trying him a lot. And I am morbidly curious to see how ROcket Raccoon could possibly play. ..That IS kind of an awesome character idea.
 
Wellp...dunno now weather to wait for this, or get MVC3 to train for this. on a other note, I went what when Phoenix wright.
 
Love Marvel Vs. Capcom, but I'm happy playing MvC2 on my 360. Soon as Super Street Fighter 4 came out as well, I was done and happy with what I got ((Seriously? Over 2000 Microsoft points for DLC- oh wait. . . shivering isles for Oblivion was pretty freaking ridiculous too. Still. . . the hell Capcom?))

Course if some of the guys at Gamestop are going to sneak this in to play then Obviously I'll be playing this XD.
 
I sold MvC3 because I got bored with it. Online was fun, I guess. But with two control options, I had Normal and Simple. Normal is the usual "memorize combos for all characters", and Simple is just smashing buttons. Also, it didn't seem possible for Phoenix Wright to be added.

Now I'm glad I sold it when the pricing was still high. Bought for 30 dollars from craigslist, and sold it on Gamestop for 25. Now assuming the trophies will carry out from the old game to the new one, I'll gladly buy it again. My team will be Spider-Man, Deadpool, and Phoenix Wright isntead of Amaterasu.
 
I wonder how Phoenix Wright will work in this game, he's a normal lawyer that doesn't have any special abilities except bringing people to jail through law & evidence...wait.

Wait, what? Did they really say that? SRB2, a PC fangame that only takes up ~35 megabytes of disk space, has a spectator mode in Match, so why the heck can't a brand-new professional video game?
 
I am conflicted between this and the new halo remake, but Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3 seems cool. Although Super Street Fighter IV wasn't my cup of tea to be quite honest.

I'm not much a fan of ssf4 myself, but UMVC3 I can assure will play a lot differently then super does, and it'll be a lot better then MvC3 was since its finished, and they finally polished the nerfs to characters that needed it orginally in mvc3.

Also a new game mode has been revealed called Heroes and Heralds, which allows to use abilites such as parrying, projectile invinciblity, x factor bursts and more. IMO it looks pretty cool, not to mention it'll be post-release free dlc.

They just can't give Zero like a battle scar-like costume or his Megaman Zero design? I'm just saying. . .the X costume just screams "F*** you" from Capcom, despite how funny this is XD

What's next. . . Shirtless Dante? Jean Grey Deadpool? Bikini Morrigan?
