master server timeout

I'm sorry if I ask to many question :oops: but when I host a game the console say that the master server take a timeout what does this mean :?
 
The master server doesn't "take a timout", it just times out.
You couldn't connect to it, that probably means you don't have your ports open or you're connecting to the wrong address.
 
Though judging by his post it doesn't look like he'd understand what any of that meant.
