Google Sites

Now everyone and their cat will have a web site, as if it hasn't happened already.
I might have a google site sometime, because I've always wanted to have my own website, though Cue has been good with his vactual service.
Don't know about you guys, what do you think of this?
I say it's more proof of google trying to take over the net or something.

I have to be honest, I'd MUCH rather have google take over the internet than pretty much anyone else who is realisticially capable of it at this moment. Google as a company is just nice, funny, and modest about everything, from what I have seen of them. All those free services, and I only ever see low-end text ads out of them anytime.
Better than these companies who warrant 100% market share by being total dips.

I remeber 10 years ago when if you wanted a free site (lol, what's a blog?), you'd need to use some really junky service like angelfire or homestead. Ohh, those were the days... <3

The internet isn't nearly as impressive anymore :(
