This was one of the craziest bugs I've ever encountered in SRB2. There was no modifications enabled, and I was using the normal srb2win exe. I think that it happened in an older SRB2 2.0 version, such as v2.0.4, but I just remembered it today after reading through a thread about the homing attack. I can't reproduce it, but this is what happened. I was running through the game for the heck of it, and when I got to GFZ3 I randomly typed "homing 1" in the console(I wanted homing attack to return, so I typed it in, hoping that it might work).
And guess what? It kind of worked. I thokked at Eggman and somehow homed onto him, but then right before I hit him, I teleported randomly to somewhere else in the map. I was like "What? I thought the homing command was disabled in 2.0." After doing it once, I tried it again. Same thing happened. I teleported randomly in the map when I was about to hit him. I had go to bed after that, so I closed SRB2 and forgot about it completely, until today.
