This mod is the 2.0 version and as such will have errors in 2.1.11
An update is currently in the works.

Welcome To the Past. If you ever played Mystic Realm and earned enough emblems to unlock the Archives, SRB2TP is essentially the same thing for the main game. The mod is suppose to cover from SRB2 TGF up to SRB2 2.0.5.

Added in this version:
SRB2 Museum Hub world now available
All versions of Green Flower up to 2.0.5 now available
All versions of Castle eggman up to 2.0.5 now available
Save system now works with all levels accessed via the SRB2 Museum Hub world.
Beta Quest featuring 2 secret levels (Special Thanks to SNN Tails for providing the levels for public download)
Proper Eggmobiles for each version of the boss fight
Christmas Hunt zone
sonic's nightmare now has an emblem for just Sonic alone. a reward for completing the level as him.

All multiplayer levels are now split into a separate megawad, complete with divided rotations for each version

The Red Volcano entry method no longer kills you and will also no longer break the unlockable system

All levels, outside of beta quest, are now grouped by name or theme

Known Bugs
1. Spelling?
2. 1.09.4 Eggman does not spawn jet fumes
3. Hidden Palace's Floor lights don't function as they did in demo 2
4. Some levels in beta quest (Sky Fortress) will get you stuck if something goes wrong. (Save system properly works so reloading should work)
5. May not work properly with custom characters (a bug that can only be fixed upon SRB2 version 2.1)

A. the Debut Castle Eggman Red XVI secret doesn't boot you out with a custom error message. Oh, wait. That not a bug.

To get to this location, find a hidden fake wall in the caves of the mountain.


To get to this location, the doorway will open when the crusher begins. But go too far and the level ends.

I really appriciate this mod, but I would love it if you took a crack at brining back, with rebalanced weapons and emerald compatability, some of the match/ctf maps from 1.09.4/a and put them into a seperate levelpack. I really miss Dual Fortress Zone, Isolated Canyon Zone, Metal Star Zone, and even (if it was scaled down a little) Sapphire Falls CTF Zone, not to mention a lot of match levels.

This would be better if it was an unlockable for the current version. Then again, why can't we just play the older version? Except for playing the old levels in multiplayer, I see no point in downloading this.

There IS no real point in downloading this other than saving disk space. You could just as well download the old versions and play them. The only thing you would miss are Glaber's (misspelled) comments on the maps.

Oh, I forgot: Glaber is also going to port Sonic Doom 2 and remake SRBTGF for this mod, IIRC.

That is correct, Although the SD2 Robots may be replaced with SRB2 robots. (Some may be ported)

Glaber, I was wondering if you could use some help porting 1.09.4 match/ctf stages. I already ran Dual Fortress zone through lvlconv, and started adding in team rings/boxes. Still needs work. I'll upload what I've done soon.

Thanks. I recently found, however, a wad called Bestof1094 that directly, with some minor weapons changes, some 1094 levels to 2.00.x. If I could get permission (is that required for mods of ports of official levels), I would like to add in team rings and better balance the weaponry in the levels for use in Blast2thepast. I would need the identity of the porter and clarifications on the rules for release. I will start working on it regardless.

Unfortunatly, I can't use Dual Fortress in this mod if it has team rings. Team rings were introduced after the map was droped.

Simple answer is yes to Christmas hunt. I can't comment on Red Volcano at this time, but I have left a hint on my wiki page.
