how do i get .SOCS to work?

Explain your problem. I cannot help you if you don't tell me what the problem is. I could either interperate this as "I need help making SOC files" or "I need help adding SOCs to SRB2".
 
1) Put the SOC in your folder

2) Run SRB2

3) Type in the console: "runsoc <socname>.soc"

Like this for example:

"runsoc chaos.soc"
 
May I just ask, what is the point of asking your topic to be locked anyway? Since you're question was answered, it'll die eventually. Just leave it alone. By asking for it to be locked, you're just bumping it up.

I thought it was addfile just like wads. Does that work, too?
