You can do this in pretty much every rope in the vicinity, by grabbing onto the rope right before it starts curving to the left. You'll get bumped off to the side and then scroll back to the next waypoint like normal.

Bamping an old thread. The actual issue with those particular rope hangs stems from incorrect use of Effect 1 causing them to be treated like non-repeating rope hangs (which uses a different method of positioning), but the underlying issue making those particular types position the player off-track has been fixed, so I'm marking this as such. (Somebody's gonna have to modify the map itself before the next release, though, or those hangs will still have issues.)
