Does autoexec.cfg support windowing?

I need to run SRB2 in Windowed mode (it only runs in windowed mode for reasons) and the bat files don't/won't work (other reasons) so I just want to know if I could take the windowing command from the bat file and put it in the autoexec.cfg and have it go windowed mode.

No. However, SDL2 will remember your settings if you set it to windowed mode in the menu, so if you keep it on there (try toggling it off and then back on if you need to) it'll boot in windowed every time you open the EXE.

autoexec.cfg is just a console command script, it couldn't possibly switch you to windowed mode on its own even if you begged it to do so.

Well is there anyway that I can go into windowed view without the bat and without loading from startSRB2? (which is how I booted it before)

There is no way to launch srb2dd.exe in windowed mode without using the command line parameter, which is what the launchers are using.
