What's your favourite in-game tune?

Probably ERZ1. Tempest Valley is a close second. A lot of the tracks in the game are really solid, though. Our soundtrack has never really been a weak point.

ERZ1, and all versions of DSZ (including the old one and the remix). I also adore TUNES 91, but that's actually an Emerald Quest tune.

There's very few tunes I dislike, but ERZ2 is appalling and Doomship 1 sounds somewhat dilettantish and not serious enough.

...why have I just shown those numbers? Well, since any map can use these tunes, there is really no point of telling what they are...Don't you think?

Well, any map can use them, but specific tunes are composed for specific maps.

I also want to add Desolate Twilight Zone, Arid Canyon, Meadow Match Zone, Egg Rock Zone and Final Fight; FFZ has a lovely ambience yet it still maintains it's epicness.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that GFZ1 reminds me of Croc a little?

...And I don't think there's one soundtrack that I don't like.

I dunno...I find Final Fight pretty anticlimactic and dull. The final boss music really needs to have more energy and drama behind it in the final version. The special ERZ3 boss music is better, but still suffers the same problem to a lesser extent.

My favorite tunes are probably Techno Hill Zone Act 2, the original Arid Canyon Zone (I use it in my mod--specifically, GCZ2), and Egg Rock Zone Act 1.

SpiritCrusher, I disagree that the music in Egg Rock Zone Act 2 is "appalling"...but it's certainly not as good as in the first act.

Probably my least favorite is It's Over. XD

Spring Hill Zone and Sunken Plant Zone have my most favorite songs in the game.
I dislike the Greenflower Zone songs, the Eggrock Zone songs, and the Dark City Zone music.
I don't really care for the other tracks.

I can't stress enough how much I hate that song. At all.

I was going to say disco zombies too, but I figured that was a bit too secret. Yeah tunes 120 and disco zombies are my favorites. I am getting a bit sick of ERZ2 too, but I don't *hate* it to death quite yet. Some of the remixes shouldn't be in the game IMO. A lot of them seem to be experiments with the guitar. Many of them don't even loop properly. I don't think many of them quite fit the SRB2 feel.

ERZ2's tune isn't even the final tune, guys. It's a placeholder that we used for the level because we didn't have time to spend on composing a whole new variation of ERZ1. That's similar to what happened with ACZ2 - while the tune itself is done (see: MIDI version, remove drums), we didn't have enough time to construct a fully unique OGG, so we just put together what we could. If the responses are any indication, it still came out alright.

Eggrock Zone 2. It just sounds awesome.
