Hey! If u want, tell us who your fave game bosses are, and what game(s)they are from. Here are mine:
1. Dr. Ivo"Eggman"Robotnik-Sonic the Hedgehog series
2. The T-Rex-Dino Crisis
3. M. Bison-Street Fighter series
4. Psycho Mantis-Metal Gear Solid
5. Ganondorf- Legend of Zelda series

1. Teh battle with the three Metal Sonics (both Hyper and normal forms) which I get from hacking
2. Lava Reef's boss with spikes 'n stuff
3. Mushroom Hill's boss with the awesome hyperspeed glitch I know
4. Angel Island's boss when you know the code that doubles the Eggman amount
5. The awesome Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails battle at the Emerald Altar I hacked into

1 - Teriyaki Yoko - Um Jammer Lammy

2 - Giga Bowser - Super Smash Bros. Melee

3 - Mirror Link - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

4 - Hairdresser Octopus - Parappa the Rapper 2

5 - Masters - Parappa the Rapper

I think the greatest ones here are the ones that no one actually knows about.

I doubt anyone knows 1, 4, or 5.

  • Panda King- Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus
Dr. Robotnik- Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles
    Cyber Errol- Jak 3
Gol and Maia's Precursor Robot- Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Muggshot- Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus

Runner up: Crunch Bandicoot- Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back.

1. The battle against Remiel in Tales of Symphonia.

Spoilers abound here, but let's just say the combination of the song "Beat The Angel" and the preceding scene make this one of the most amazing battles ever.

2. The series of battle against Sin while on the airship in Final Fantasy X.

Seven people and a dinky little hunk of ancient metal against a giant monster. Plus perfect music during the battle.

3. The Delphinus versus Zelos in Skies of Arcadia.

The final airship battle of the game is by no means easy or short, and a single mistake means you go boom. And, of course, good music.

4. The Hero's duel with Luca Blight from Suikoden II

Luca Blight, the enemy for most of the game, has finally been cornered-and you finally get to kill him. It's because of him that several cities and towns were destroyed, among other spoilerific events. He's powerful too-he gets three boss battles prior to this, with six people in each of your parties against him. Great music, too.

5. The battle with Neclord from Suikoden II

The hated enemy of one of the most importent NPCs in the game, as well as one of the few who get their own opposing sword. And his own music track, "Gothic Neclord". See a pattern yet?

Honorable Mentions:

1. The first battle with Magus in Chrono Trigger.

Need I say more?

2. Samus versus Mother Brain in Super Metroid.

Hyper beam ftw.

3. Doomsday Zone

...you even had to ask?

4. The battle with Atma/Ultima Weapon from Final Fantasy VI

Feeble creatures, go!

5. The battle with Yunalesca from FFX

The same reasons as the battle with Remiel, basically.

And last, but not least...

0. The battle against the five pumpkin bosses from Final Fantasy XII

Ankle high demons who've been keeping the tunnel into Archadia from being used. You hear stories about how fearsome they are, and you walk into a room, and these little tiny things are running around, making squeaky noises. You sit there. You laugh. You look up, and you realize you're half dead.

1 - Those height monsters - Half Life 2.
2 - Xen - Half Life
3 - The big machine - quake 2

I dont really know the names...
1) Striders.
2) The Nihilanth (Xen is a location, not a being)
3) The Makron.

1. Final Fantasy X's battles against Sin, same reasons as ST218.

2. The final racer of the "Zodiac" in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 0, White Charisma.

I just found this one incredibly hard, weaving in and out of traffic just to see a pair of bright wite headlights following me and closing in, fast.

3. The multi-rocket firing robots in FEAR.

Technically, these aren't 'bosses', as there is none in the game, but they don't appear often at all, are pretty fast and are godly powerful. Hitting slow-mo and just firing at one with a shotgun at point blank, landing a remote-grenade on it and detonating it is just so fun.

Too bad it came back for more.

4. FFVII's Emerald WEAPON.

Sure took a while to beat. Too many close-calls, little health, many healing items/spells.

5. FFX's Final Aeon battle.

Well, at times it got pretty depserate. I also LOVED the music used for the battle (Otherworld), being in loved with metal music.

1.) Dark Falz - Phantasy Star Online
2.) Gal Gryphon - Phantasy Star Online
3.) Rez - Crazy God Damned Sphere Boss
4.) Sonic 2006 - Egg Wyvern
5.) Reala - NiGHTS Into Dreams
