I say you are incorrect.
Fancharacters and recolors are different.

Recolors and edits are different. GET IT RIGHT!

honestly, look closer. All of the sprites to be made INTO THE WAD are custom. the character himself is an edit. Seriously though, look at Senku: are you giving him grief? no.

and: edits and recolors don't go in the same category.

I just say it is a Sonic edit with spikes up...

Nice job contradicting yourself...

lolz, anyway lets get back on topic. Anything that needs to be added? (don't ask color being added as we speak)

Working on it, until then, you mind telling me how would I shade to make it as SRB2 styled as possible?

As far as the majority of this forum is concerned, recolor = sprite edit.

While the character A-Star's design most likely is a recolor, the sprites being used here are not, which is probably a good thing.

As for the sprites themselves, what little is on there looks good... it's just not enough for me to really say anything.

You could look at other peoples sprites and see how they shaded them...

For example I got my shading methods for these by looking at senku and nitro's shadings on their sprites... And then I tried to throw in a little creativity with the detail. (EG: The shiny noses, the smirking grins, the colorful eyes, and knuckles "bumpy" steel plated shoes.)

So go crazy, let loose, and be creative, I hope my advice proves helpful enough to you.
