New way to edit characters?

I have a question, is it possible to make a character out of real life pictures like if I take pictures of myself and edit it convert it and all that stuff?
 
Yeah, Mortal Kombat perfected this technology years ago. And frankly, I don't think anyone wants to see that in SRB2.
 
Using real people as sprites won't work well. It wouldn't be in Srb2's style, The palette probally wouldn't get along with the colors of the clothes,skin,hair,etc. and it would more then likely just look plain ugly
 
Hmmm... Isn't there an app for the computer (or something) that cartoons the picture?
 
Yes, it is possible.

Should you do it? No. They did a similar thing with a 3D model of Knuckles in 1.09.4 and it was hideous.
