SLADE changing ^ to \

Hello.
I'm trying to make a SRB2 WAD, but SLADE keeps changing ^ to \!
Tried pasting a sprite with ^ in it already, but SLADE changes that right to an \, too.

I used to have this problem years ago, but that's because I jumped right into SLADE without reading up on its features. For a simple fix, open SLADE, then click at the top on Edit > Preferences. In Editing/Editor Settings, uncheck "Force uppercase entry names in Wad Archives", and a check on "Use percent encoding if needed outside of Wad Archives". The former helps create lowercase lumps, while the latter for ^ lumps.
