Having the defeat of a boss do something else than raise a capsule?

Is it possible for a linedef executor to be set up in such a way that it is triggered in the same way that raising an Egg Capsule is (by the SOC action A_BossDeath)? Can that action trigger other lindef excecutors, like changing the music, making a PolyObject appear or disappear, etc? I know it probably has something to do with the reserved tags 680-682, but how would it be set up exactly?
 
The Sea Egg will automatically trigger a linedef executor with the tag 101 when it's defeated, but that's about it, I think.
