The obligatory playable Eggman wad. Comes in Egg Mobile and Sea Egg flavors.

Spoiler: Ability List
~Shoot [Custom 1]~
Fires a shot or torpedo forward. If an enemy is targeted, multiple shots will be fired at the target.

~Boost [Custom 2]~
Instantly thrusts forward at an increased speed. Drains rings if used by the Egg Mobile.

~Spikes [Custom 2]~
Only usable by the Egg Mobile. Replaces the Boost ability when an enemy is targeted. Spawns several spikes and lunges at the target, scattering the spikes in random directions upon impact. Costs 2 rings.

~Dummy [Custom 2]~
Only usable by the Sea Egg. Replaces the Boost ability when an enemy is targeted. Sends out a dummy to harass the target, exploding after approximately 2 seconds. Costs 6 rings.

~Lock-On [Custom 3]~
Searches for a target and locks on to it. Targeting an enemy changes the behavior of the Custom 1 and Custom 2 abilities.

~Bomb [Toss Flag]~
Only usable by the Egg Mobile. Tosses a large bomb which explodes in a pattern. Colliding with the fire it leaves behind is not advised. Costs 4 rings.

~Shock [Toss Flag]~
Only usable by the Sea Egg. Shocks the water, damaging all enemies within range. Costs 8 rings.
~Notes~
Custom action controls must be mapped in the options menu if you haven't done so already.
Eggman starts each level with 8 HP, and you aren't getting any of it back unless you complete the level or die.
You can turn super in multiplayer by pressing Custom Action 3.

Would you be willing to make a version of Eggman that has the instant accel/decel? That way one can choose which one they want? It's understandable if you don't feel like it, but still, I'm sure it'd please a few people(Read: Probably only me).

Added a sound to the missile shot
Spike ability merged into Dash ability
Flame Burst ability added to Custom Action 3
Eggman can now break monitors with the Flame Burst ability
The speeds at which Eggman ascends and descends now increase as he accelerates
Eggman's default descent speed has been increased
Fixed the life icon not changing color properly
Dash ability no longer brings you to a complete stop when it ends
Super Eggman now has a faster dash which is not restricted by speed
Fixed a bug that allowed you to go super multiple times
Fixed a zoomtube bug

You have to set them yourself, they're under miscellaneous controls in the options.

This is my reward for being such a good little dev and implementing Lua in SRB2.
To fly around blasting unsuspecting Crawlas with missiles, bombs, telekinetic self-destruct explosions and some wonky half-working dash attack with spikeballs.

Eggman is able to complete every single level except for ERZ3. He can beat the race with time to spare, but he can't damage Metal Sonic in any way.

Just a suggestion, but i feel that the Flame Burst ability could be changed to better round out Eggman's abilities, and to make it a bit easier to use and understand. My idea for the replacement is this: One press of the button Spawns a targeting thing that follows the player's aim, and once it hits an enemy/item box/whatever, it would stick to that object until the player pressed the button again, causing the same effect that the ability has now. Sort of like a lock-on sniping weapon, i suppose.

Ah, that's right... Metal Sonic is only vulnerable if he dodges due to feeling threatened, and that doesn't take projectiles into account, which are all the Eggmobile's only attacks...

Yeah, Metal Sonic would probably respond if you were "jumping" around him in some way, maybe turn on PF_JUMPED or something for the dash? Not sure if that would make some things awkward though.

Eggman's abilities are now disabled when dead or exiting the level
Metal Sonic now surrenders to Eggman once he reaches the battle phase, allowing him to complete the entire vanilla campaign

I decided to fix these bugs now since it looks like the frequent patching of SRB2 has slowed down.

Finally, a Eggman wad that plays like eggman.
I like the custom abilities and the color changing, but I found a new bug with this:
All characters use the fall sprites instead of the hit sprites when getting hit by a enemy.

~Update Changelog~
Fixed Eggman's dash to work properly in SRB2 2.1.7

The 2.1.7 patch made hitting walls stop Eggman's momentum even when dashing. This effectively knocked him out of dash while bypassing the script's dash exit code. This update fixes it so hitting a wall will now properly cancel the dash.
