Sorry, this comes late, but still...


Some info: Well, this map is a bit big, and this is match map, too, so, if you like a bit big match maps, this is for you. Cool map, I give this 8+/10.
And this is my first map, so, it cant be so perfect because this is new one.

NOTE: About of the emeralds: Emeralds will be founded 4 or 5, and they are meaned to be a lights, too. So, you can't transform in super form :D

Its interesting. Its likely very HARD, too. But like you see, infinity rings will be founded A LOT of Lasers of Jonicity. That can be a bit annoying. So, I delete some infinity rings, then this isnt very annoying.
 
This level was not as good as some people think it is. These are the flaws.

-Rings are not deafed.
-Level design is exteremly linear and bland, totally lacking with scenery. It ws so large with no detail in it, there was the occasionaly software glitch.
-Horrible item & thing placements, springs are the main example.
-Some areas are very cramped.
-The forest part was annoying, and even max light level in the game was useless in that area.

Personally, I think this level needs to be scrapped, and totally revamped. SRB2 Wiki may help with some level design stuff as well.

Hold on a minute. Tyrzi said it was his map, not yours. So either, you have taken credit of what you haven't done, or you didn't put credit at the start of your post. Make sure you got his permission to release it first as people think you are plagarising someone's work.
 
Have you heard of constructive critisism? It's for giving feedback to people to improve on their skills, and saying "it's his first level" is not an excuse at all. I was only concerned about the plagarism part =/
 
Well, all people has his own form of think. Your and mine is different. My form counts on experience. First level, no critice. (And the level is good)
Your form counts on author of level, criticism, etc...

What you said to me is how proper critisism is given out.

But still, that is still a pathetic excuse of giving anyone feedback. How is whoever made the map going to improve if he doesn't get any critisism? heck, I was nowhere near as good as I was almost 3 years ago, but I've improved because of critisism helped me to. If you don't get any critisism, you won't improve your skills, and it will just keep repeating the cycle again and again. If a pro level design was to play it, you would see what I mean.
 
I don't see anything bad in this level. For me, all is right. When something is wrong, I'm going to critice, but: why critice when I don't see fails? You don't have always to critice.

If you release something on here, or any website, you are not going to get away without critisism. There will always be 1 bit where requests for improvement are told to the author of a specific type of work to try and get better on the weaknesses they have.

That's the matter. Did you see the "originality" of Sapphire Falls?
It's like a semi-level mirrored. Yes, some levels win in kilometres to this, but is good see the original of Fan Levels.

You not, but I see this level good. I repeat, we have different forms of think. You see errors, I not.
 
Yes, you are supposed to critique any level that you think could be better. Criticism is just advice to tell the person how to make stuff better. Every WAD has some room for improvement. It helps the creator if they know about the flaws, so they can become better.

Let's just end this pointless argument and bring the topic back to people commenting on this WAD.

AGH! He is one of who make more and delete some stuff so he is one of jonicityxmas maker. but he can send this to release because he own this level now. :)
 
for everybody: i don't care if you guys give to my levels some rank 1-3/10
or 4-10/10 because i know ''customers are allways right'' but i like if someone give rank 7-10/10 because it's allright to me.
