It is an improvement to what you had before, I think the vertical spring was an interesting way to interpret my vertical variation comment.

A problem that I see is in that one part with the U-turn has an area where you can jump to, and it might confuse players.
 
Sky Speedway Zone, 7/10

Yay, a race level! Race is the essence of Sonic.

Anyway, I thought that the level was very good, very innovative, but also very hard with inexperienced players, but a bit of trickery can get Sonic pwning in this level.

The Good
-Innovative (e.g. Jetty-syns)
-Fitting music
-Good design
-Clever how it fits in such a small place
-Good scenery.

The Bad
-Over-difficult for Race mode
-Too many monitors, the Attraction sheild totally overpowers in normal Race
-U-turn breaks up flow
-No shortcuts or risks, except for general platforming
 
The thin paths make it a bit difficult for Sonic to go through easily, since he's so fast. Although it does eliminate the effectiveness of thok, so it's not all bad. However, the fact that the entire level is over a death pit makes for some cheap deaths sometimes, especially around that u-turn area.

All in all, I give it a 6 out of 10.
