Screen size problems

I use Vista (ugh) and when I start up SRB2 there's a white space underneath the main screen. I tried changing screen size and there's a perfect size but it crashes in colormaps. =/ What's the recommended screen size for Vista?
 
Thank you. I think it just must be THZ1 then, because I tested it on ACZ1. I found one of the few spots of water.
 
In the Console, type stretch 1. Then change the resolution, and change it back.(Or just exit SRb2 and re-open it) And the white space will be gone!

IMO, the green ones for me are horrible. You can barely read text so I believe stretch is a better option.
