UPDATE: 4/20/06
BSZ is so very close to being done. May actually seems like a possibility now!

If you haven't noticed it in my sig, check out the framerate test data:

Perhaps "1.5ghz" is a groundless statement (seeing as a 2.0ghz Athlon 64 performs as well as a 3.0ghz Pentium 4), but I think the performance worries are at least carressed a little bit.

Also, I might need your help. See post in last page for details. Maybe I'll post new screenshots soon!

Oh yes, so nice!
Oh my, can I beta test it! PLEASE!
IT LOOKS SO AMAZING!
If only I had a beta of it...
Oh wait, whats this?
...i have BSZ betas! glory! :D
...man, they have long filenames...

And I bet the thing still runs like mud!

However, NiGHTS will continue to get faster with 1.09.3.

Even with a high performance graphics card, it runs _just_ a bit faster....than mud ;)

I just hope this is OpenGL compatible. It probably is, but just hoping.

Edit: Oh wait, no link.

It is, and works quite well on it. And I'd take some screens of my latest copy just to taunt you but unfortunately I'm at th library and don't have it on me.

BUT SOON! =P

1.7ghz P4. Slow as molasses. ~7fps. You do the math.

That's kinda' why there's a high-end and a low-end version planned :P.

Even if all the unnesessary things are taken out, it'll still lag like there is no tomorrow. You get some huge backdrops in that, and my comp's ram just can't handle that. I would have to have it set to the lowest setting for it to have even the slightest chance of not lagging.
